5th Annual Urban X Awards and Dinner Gala Scheduled

The 5th Annual Urban X Awards and Dinner Gala has been scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2012 at The Odyssey in Granada Hills, CA, which has been described at "sexy, exciting and always provocative."

Hosting this year's show is once again the "Black Barbie of Porn," Nyomi Banxxx and AVN Award winning director Alexander DeVoe.

Previous attendees of the 5-year old awards show include Priya Rai, Lexington Steele, Pinky, Roxy Reynolds, Sara Jay, Phoenix Marie, Lisa Ann, Cherokee D'Ass, Olivia O'Lovely, Sean Michaels, Kristina Rose, Mr. Marcus, Superstar XXX, Jada Fire, Jack Napier, Misty Stone, Julia Ann, TS Madison, Asa Akira and many more.

The Urban X Awards was founded in 2008 by Giana Taylor. Her vision was to bring to the adult industry's attention that interracial and ethnic adult film was not a niche to set to the side, but a market that widely contributed to the lure of adult entertainment; therefore, it should be celebrated and awarded as such. After the success of the first Urban X Awards show (then known as the Urban Spice Awards), every awards show since has earned critical acclaim and been deemed one of the most anticipated awards shows.

2011 Urban X Award Winners Announced

The hottest performers of color gathered on Saturday night for the fourth annual Urban X Awards show.

Hosted by Nyomi Banxxx and Alexander DeVoe, the Urban X Awards were created to recognize achievement by the porn stars, producers, directors, agencies and companies who produce Black, Latin, Asian and interracial adult content. The winners are voted for by fans on the awards website.

Spantaneeus Xtasty, Justin Long, Shyla Stylez, Kelly Starr, Sara Jay, Francesca Le, India, Lisa Ann, Suave XXX, Jack Napier, ManDingo, Jade Hsu and Mr. Pete into the Urban X Hall of Fame.

2010 Urban X Award Winners Announced

The hottest performers of color gathered on Tuesday night for the third annual Urban X Awards show.

The show was kicked off with the induction of male performers into the Urban X Hall of Fame. Michael Stefano, Guy DiSilva, Ron Hightower and Alexander DeVoe were inducted by Olivia O'Lovely.

Mr. Marcus inducted Jada Fire, Diana DeVoe, Nina Hartley, Mercedes Ashley and Olivia O'Lovely into the Urban X Hall of Fame.

Hosted by Misty Stone and Dana DeArmond, award winners and party revelers called it the best incarnation of the three.

SAY WHAT?!? :: Brian Pumper Lip-Syncs

Popular porn star Brian Pumper was one of the performers at the second annual Urban X Awards over the summer. Pumper takes the stage and immediately goes into a comedy(?) routine. He starts rambling on about how some (male?) performers don't like to "fuck with Pumper." Which segues into a talk about how women don't want to swallow his cum loads.

While he rambles, he talks about people not getting his concept of "Hip-Hop and porn." I'm sure people get the concept, it's just his involvement in it and his delusions of grandeur of being a rap star... That's what people don't get.

Apparently folks behind-the-scenes weren't digging Pumper's ramblings, because they dispatch awards host Mr. Marcus out to speed Pumper up.

Once Pumper actually starts performing, he lip-syncs. Lip-syncs? Isn't that something relegated to pop stars? Since when do rappers lip-sync?
