SAY WHAT?!? :: Nicki Minaj Interrupts Award to Pimp Pink Friday

Rising rap starlet Nicki Minaj briefly interrupted Sunday night's American Music Awards to promote her upcoming debut album, Pink Friday.

While presenting the award for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist, Minaj interrupted fellow presenter Taio Cruz — who was seconds away from announcing the winner in the category, Rihanna — in order to announce the November 22 release of the album.

2010 American Music Award Nominees Announced

Nominations for the 2010 American Music Awards have been announced. Eminem and Lady Antebellum lead the nominees with five nods apiece.

Eminem vies against Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga for the coveted 2010 Artist of the Year award.

Bieber collected four nominations, while Perry Ke$ha, Usher and B.o.B scored three nods each.

The ceremony will be broadcast live November 21, 2010 on ABC.

Mo'Nique won Best Actress and Alicia Keys won twice (Best Female R&B Artist and Best Collaboration).

2010 BET Awards Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 2010 BET Awards have been announced.

Usher, Chris Brown, Maxwell, Trey Songz and Raheem DeVaughn are nominated for Best Male R&B Artist. Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Melanie Fiona, Alicia Keys and Rihanna received nods in the Best Female R&B Artist category.

Jay-Z received a total of five nominations, while Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Melanie Fiona and Trey Songz received four apiece.

On the film side... Avatar, Precious, The Blind Side, Michael Jackson's This Is It and Law Abiding Citizen are nominated for Best Movie. Zoe Saldana, Gabourey Sidibe, Mo'Nique, Taraji P. Henson and Regina King are up for Best Actress, while Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Jamie Foxx, Idris Elba and Quinton Aaron round out the nominees in the Best Actor category.

Queen Latifah hosts the 2010 BET Awards on June 27, 2010 at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.

Mariah Carey to Release Duet/Remix Album

Mariah Carey is prepping to release Angels Advocate, a remix album that features duets of most of her Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel tracks.

Angels Advocate features remixes and duets of songs featured on Memoirs, as well as some new tracks, including "100%". "100%" was originally slated to appear on the Precious soundtrack, but is now a single being used in support of Team USA at the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Two music videos for the album have already premiered. The first features Nicki Minaj in a remix to "Up Out My Face". The second showcases Ne-Yo in a remix to "Angels Cry".

Angels Advocate will feature T-Pain, Trey Songz, Mary J. Blige, Fabolous, R. Kelly, The-Dream, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg.
