53rd Annual Grammy Award Nominees Announced

Nominations for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were announced last night on a live CBS television special hosted by LL Cool J. Eminem received the most honors with 10 nominations in categories including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars came in next with seven nominations. Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga each received six nominations.

The 2011 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 13, 2011 @ 8pm on CBS.

2010 American Music Award Nominees Announced

Nominations for the 2010 American Music Awards have been announced. Eminem and Lady Antebellum lead the nominees with five nods apiece.

Eminem vies against Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga for the coveted 2010 Artist of the Year award.

Bieber collected four nominations, while Perry Ke$ha, Usher and B.o.B scored three nods each.

The ceremony will be broadcast live November 21, 2010 on ABC.

Kanye West kept his cool... and Chris Brown completely lost it at the 2010 BET Awards.

Mo'Nique won Best Actress and Alicia Keys won twice (Best Female R&B Artist and Best Collaboration).

The show was hosted by Queen Latifah.

In the News :: UK Tells Chris Brown to Stay Out!

United Kingdom officials announced that they have barred Chris Brown from entering the country for a concert due to his attack on his former girlfriend Rihanna.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to the U.K. to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns. Each application to enter the U.K. is considered on its individual merits.

The 21-year-old R&B singer had been scheduled to perform in Glasgow, London and Manchester in the UK, along with a stop in Cork, Ireland.

Chris Brown issued this statement: "Due to issues surrounding his work visa, the Ireland and United Kingdom leg of Chris Brown's Fan Appreciation Tour has been postponed. Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support."
