Basketball Wives Star Jackie Christie to Produce Adult Film

VH1's Basketball Wives: LA star Jackie Christie, wife of former NBA player Doug Christie, revealed on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show last week that she and her hubby would be producing porn.

Jackie Christie: "I'm producing an adult film, me and my husband Doug. We're executive producing and stuff."

Jackie didn't offer any further details. But, it was clear that Jackie nor Doug would be in front of the camera at all. All acting roles would be played by porn stars.

Smiley, a standup comedian and radio host, volunteered himself for a role, but warned that viewers would need a TV set bigger than 15 inches to fully appreciate his talents.

Married for more than 20 years, the Christie's strangely obsessive marriage has been in the spotlight before. In 2002, the New York Times revealed that Doug would often signal to his wife while playing and from the bench. During the course of one game, he signaled to his wife 62 times.

Jackie even made it known to team officials when Doug was playing for the Sacramento Kings that if certain female reporters were to interview Doug, she needed to be present.

Doug Christie played for eight teams during his 15-year NBA career. Known mostly as a defensive stopper, Christie was drafted 17th overall out of Pepperdine by the Seattle SuperSonics. He averaged 11.2 points and 4.1 rebounds during his career.

Outrageous basketball superstar Dennis Rodman called into a Miami radio station on the morning of Tuesday, November 23, 1010 to discuss the Miami Heat. While on the phone with host Jorge Sedano, Rodman was continually distracted and interrupted by a woman in the room with him.

Sedano eventually asked Rodman if he was "getting it on." Rodman said no.

Dennis Rodman: "She's just sucking something. Sorry! I'm sorry about that. You said keep clean, right?"

In the News :: Shaquille O'Neal Signs with Boston Celtics

Aging basketball star Shaquille O'Neal has signed a two-year contract with the Boston Celtics worth about $3 million on Wednesday. The 7-foot-1, 325-pound center has signed to the Eastern Conference champions.

After receiving little attention on other teams, O'Neal will play on the floor with Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

The Celtics also signed free agent center Jermaine O'Neal.

All five are signed for two seasons, except Pierce, who has four years left on the deal he signed after the season.

O'Neal will wear No. 36 in Boston.

Carmello Anthony and LaLa Wed; LeBron James Booed

Basketball superstar Carmello Anthony wed former MTV VJ and "actress" LaLa Vazquez on Saturday night in New York at Cipriani restaurant.

The wedding boasted a 320 person guest list that included new Miami Heat star LeBron James. As James entered the venue with his longtime girlfriend, he was greeted with loud boos from New Yorkers.

The couple was escorted down the aisle by their three-year-old son.

Anthony, 26, popped the question to LaLa, 31, five years ago.

The ceremony was filmed by VH1 and will air as part of a reality series on the couple.
