The end of another television season has arrived. Be honest. After giving your DVR (and TiVos) an extreme workout these past few months, you're actually looking forward to viewing a bit less primetime television.
You could spend your additional free time outside... But we all know that summer is also the TV on DVD season.
So what's on your list this summer — and why?
Here's my summer TV on DVD list:
-- Revisiting Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, season 4: I own the complete series on DVD, and I just haven't had the time to revisit the series' final season on DVD since purchasing it.
-- Nip/Tuck, starting with season 1: I own most of the series on DVD, and I think it's time to finally start viewing it. Yeah I'm a bit behind the general public, but at least I can view this modern-day classic without interruption and in marathon viewings.
-- Sleeper Cell: American Terror: I've been meaning to catch the follow-up to Showtime's Sleeper Cell. The original was great. So, I hope the second season is just as intense.
-- Revisiting Seinfeld, season 9: With several series completing their run this past season, I thought it would be fun to revisit one of the highest-rated sitcom's final year.
-- Revisiting The X-Files, starting with season 1: Since purchasing the complete series on DVD, I just haven't had the time to view it. So, I want to start from the beginning and let the Mulder/Scully sexual tension come to a boil over the summer.
