Idris Elba Joins Showtime's The Big C

Idris Elba has been cast in Showtime's The Big C. Elba is joining the cast as a love interest for Laura Linney's cancer-stricken (and married) character.

The Wire alum will appear in at least four episodes of the dark comedy's first season.

The Big C premieres August 16, 2010.
