Brandon Iron was born on July 14, 1968 in Alberta, Canada. He completed a degree in English ... but quickly realized that he wanted to live out his dream ... and pursue work in the adult film industry. Brandon had been a fan of the porn world since his mid-teens.

Although he started his porn career in 1991 ... Brandon didn't perform on a full-time basis until 1997. Brandon has worked for dozens of companies and has directed exclusively for some of the biggest names in the biz (including West Cost Productions, Platinum X Pictures and JM Productions).

Brandon Iron has created some of the biggest selling video franchises such as: Slap Happy, I Love it Rough, A Good Source of Iron, Baker's Dozen, 50 to 1, Ten Little Piggies, and Photographic Mammaries. I sat down with Brandon to talk about how he got started in the industry ... his love for porn ... his sexual fetishes ... and what's next for Mr. Iron ...

Papi Chulo: How did you get involved in the adult industry?

Brandon Iron: I was always a big fan of the adult industry since my mid-teens. I liked the hardcore movie review mags and fantasized a lot about what it would be like to be in the industry. I met a feature dancer/performer named Aja and she gave me some good advice about how to start. I contacted World Modeling, her agency, and just stayed persistent. Agents will always tell guys they are fully booked for now but you must not take no for an answer. You have to get used to rejection. So many guys WANT to do the business but it takes determination to actually go where they are made and try to get an opportunity.

PC: When did you first get started in the adult industry?

BI: I did my first movie, Bonfire of the Panties, in 1991. I had finished a B.A. in English and went to Mexico for a vacation. There was a layover in Los Angeles and I went to the offices of World Modeling and met the agent, Jim South. I was lucky and got an opportunity right away! Another early shoot was with a lady named Kitty.

PC: What was your first experience on a porn set like?

BI: I was terribly nervous. My first scene was with Ashley Nichole. She was dating Sean Michaels at the time. She was very patient with me and whispered in my ear, "It's just you and me, baby." I still remember that and it has been 16 years! Wow! I didn't say much during the scene and was trying way to hard to focus. There was a definite lack of confidence. Now, I can see just how shy and reserved I was back then so having a lot of sex in front of a camera has been good for me to become more outgoing. You can become anything -- or anyone -- you want to be. I'm proof of that.

PC: What do you enjoy most about filming scenes?

BI: I especially enjoy meeting and working with new girls who are a little shy and uncertain about how to perform. It makes me feel like I need to take special care to show them a good time and create a good experience. It totally takes away any performance anxiety for me, something which I've dealt with for years.

PC: What is one of your favorite scenes that you have shot ... and why?

BI: I shot Courtney Cummz and Hillary Scott for the website www.covermyface.com and the results were incredible. Courtney let me fuck her ass before she and Hillary sucked off another 22 guys. PC: Do you find it more ... or less work ... When you direct a scene you are starring in?

BI: It's just a different sort of work. Believe it or not, I have failed on my own set before. It's true! I get nervous at times and find it difficult to relax. Now that I have seen most everything that can happen on a set, though, I find it easier to remain calm. This is especially so when I am shooting and a guy is having wood problems. It's not the end of the world and there is all the time in the world. It's far more important to try to enjoy the time you have in this industry. Most people have to actually work hard for a living. I've been on permanent vacation, it seems to me, for years now with no end in sight.

PC: What film series ... that you have done ... is your favorite ... and why?

BI: I enjoyed producing the DVD series 50 to 1 for Platinum X. 50 girls were shot interview-style in their normal street clothes. They girls told about their backgrounds, past sexual/work experiences, and revealed quirky things about themselves.

The only problem with fitting 50 girls in one release is the time constraint of the DVD. The perfect solution was to start the site www.loadmymouth.com where the scenes could be much longer. I update it 3 times per week and there are now 301 girls on the site as of the last week of November, 2007.

PC: You have quite a few websites running ... such as "covermyface.com", "spermcocktail.com" and "loadmymouth.com". Are there any future sites coming? And ... What is your favorite site to shoot for?

BI: Those 3 sites are found at www.brandoniron.com. They take up a lot of my time as I do all the booking, shooting, photos, paperwork, editing, etc. It's time consuming having this much fun but I wouldn't have it any other way! Braincash is the network with which I partnered and we are a good match, I think. They have treated me very good since we launched www.covermyface.com in May of 2006 and the sites are starting to mature with all the exclusive updates.

We are planning future sites to be launched but I want them to be about things that really excite me. I'd love to do something foot fetish-oriented. I put out 9 volumes of Ten Little Piggies that would form a good foundation for a lot of toe-sucking fun.

PC: You have a huge loyal fan base. How does it feel to be idolized by so many?

BI: I think that many guys can identify with someone like me because I'm just an ordinary guy. I was a fan and remain one to this day. I enjoy watching porn, discussing porn, and socializing with people in the industry. Some friendships have been meaningful and I've learned a great deal from everyone I've met. If nothing else, this business teaches you that virtually all men want sex from beautiful women. A stunningly obvious observation, I know, but I feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of the industry at times. I'm living the dream!

BI: Family Guy, 60 Minutes, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

PC: McDonald's Big Mac or Burger King's Whopper?

BI: Neither! I used to work at Burger King in high school so I already overdosed on that stuff. I saw Supersize Me and rethought my whole take on McDonald's. If a burger is on the menu, In and Out Burger is a smaller franchise that I enjoy patronizing. They have a simple menu: burgers, fries, and drinks. The prices are reasonable and I always root for the underdog.

PC: Disney or Warner Bros?

BI: Uhhhh ... I'm 39 and think I'm not exactly their prime demographic but I'll have to say Disney just because of the good memories of attending Disneyland as a kid.

PC: What's your favorite color?
