In the News :: Mitt Romney Asks "Who Let the Dogs Out? Who? Who?"

Republican presidential nominee hopeful Mitt Romney was in Jacksonville, FL yesterday ... after a speaking engagement ... Romney made a quick stop at the Martin Luther King, Jr. parade to greet some parade-goers and snap some pictures with supporters ...

Romney ran back and forth across the street and shook hands with (and snapped photos with) ROTC members, tiny beauty queens, police officers and many parade-goers ...

The crowd was largely African-American ... and while cameras were rolling ... as someone was getting ready to snap a photo ... Mitt Romney said: "Who let the dogs out? Who? Who?"

He then took some more photos with the crowd ... and greeted one baby wearing a necklace with: "Hey buddy! How's it going? What's happening? You got some bling bling here!"

At the parade ... there were Obama supporters holding up signs ... and one woman yelled out: "Mitt Romney go home. You are holding up the parade!"

Once the parade did start ... Romney hopped into his car and headed off to his next appointment ...

Not to my surprise ... the mainstream media has barely mentioned this ... besides a short reference here or there on the web ...

What can I say? That was a poor attempt by Mr. Romney at appearing "hip" ... and "with it" ... to young Black voters in Florida ...

In the News :: Student Reveals CNN Rigged Soft Question to Clinton

Maria Luisa ... the UNLV student who asked Hillary Clinton whether she preferred "diamonds or pearls" at Thursday's CNN-hosted Democratic debate in Las Vegas ... posted on her MySpace page Friday morning that CNN forced her to ask the soft question instead of a pre-approved question about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository ...

"Every single question asked during the debate by the audience had to be approved by CNN. I was asked to submit questions including 'lighthearted/fun' questions. I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. For sure, I thought I would get to ask the Yucca question that was APPROVED by CNN days in advance.

CNN ran out of time and used me to 'close' the debate with the pearls/diamonds question. Seconds later this girl comes up to me and says, 'you gave our school a bad reputation.' Well, I had to explain to her that every question from the audience was pre-planned and censored. That's what the media does. See, the media chose what they wanted, not what the people or audience really wanted. That's politics; that's reality. So, if you want to read about real issues important to America--and the whole world, I suggest you pick up a copy of the Economist or the New York Times or some other independent source. If you want me to explain to you how the media works, I am more than happy to do so. But do not judge me or my integrity based on that question."

FOX News reported last week that the Clinton campaign confirmed that they rigged a question during a town hall meeting at Grinnell University ... and the campaign said it would never happen again ...

So far the blame lies on CNN ...

Duane "Dog" Chapman :: "I'm not Black at all."

In his first television appearance since his hit A&E show was indefinitely shelved ... Duane "Dog" Chapman tells FOX News that he "never did it out of hate" ...

"Dog" is referring to the very publicized phone conversation that leaked to the media where he vehemently uses the N-word as he talks to his son about his Black girlfriend ...

"Dog" said that he always felt a kinship with Black people ...

"Dog": "There's a special connection that I thought I had between me and Black America. And I used to say, 'I'm black, too.' In other words, my whole life I've been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that…so when I stood there and said, 'I kind of know what you feel like, because I've been there, too,' that I felt that I could embrace and like, as brothers ... say the word. I now learned I'm not black at all, and I never did it out of hate. This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love. Other white guys would be like, 'Boy, who does Dog think he is? Dog can say that.' And black guys would be with me and walk with me and respect me. So, I went too far with that."
