BET to Air Michael Vick Reality Show

BET will feature Michael Vick in an eight-part documentary-style reality show to air early next year.

The Michael Vick Project (tentative title) will follow the newly reinstated footballer as he joins the Philadelphia Eagles, rebuilds relationships with his fiancée and kids and attempts to make amends for his 2007 arrest.

Michael Vick: "I just want people to really get to know me as an individual. What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I've made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it's not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up."

Dhani Tackles the Globe, Season 1 -- Coming to DVD on December 8

Hank Baskett Racing to the Indianapolis Colts

Just two days after being cut by the Philadelphia Eagles, Hank Baskett is set to sign with the Indianapolis Colts. Baskett is expected to begin practicing today. His wife, reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson, says the ink isn't dry yet, but she's excited about the move.

Kendra Wilkinson: "This is a great opportunity for Hank to be playing for the Colts. Peyton Manning is one of the best—if not the best—quarterbacks in the league, and I'm excited to see my baby kick some ass! So proud of Hank for staying strong and positive."

Hank Baskett Released from Philadelphia Eagles

Football star Hank Baskett has been released from the Philadelphia Eagles in advance of the team's second game.

The Philadelphia Eagles cut the wide receiver to make room for Michael Vick. Philadelphia had been trying to trade Baskett for some time.

Vick was placed on the active roster in preparation for Week 3 on Tuesday.

In the News :: Tila Tequila Hospitalized Following Attack; Shawne Merriman Just Trying to Help "Intoxicated" Girlfriend

Tila Tequila was hospitalized early Sunday following an incident with her San Diego Chargers boyfriend, Shawne Merriman.

Tila "Tequila" Nguyen called the San Diego Sheriff's Department at 3:45am. She told deputies that Merriman had choked her when she tried to leave, and he physically restrained her.

The 27-year-old reality TV star signed a citizen's arrest warrant accusing the NFL linebacker of battery and false imprisonment.

The 25-year-old Chargers star "looks forward to clearing [his] name regarding these false allegations." He released this statement:

On Sept. 6, 2009 the San Diego Sheriff's Department responded to a citizen's complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided.

We would all do our best to help a friend if we considered their actions to be detrimental to their personal safety. I in no way caused any harm to Ms. Nguyen, however, paramedics were called and she was examined but no injuries were reported. She was released and has since returned to Los Angeles.

Merriman spent two-and-a-half hours in police custody before being released on $58,000 bail.

Larry Fitzgerald Goes Shirtless on Men's Fitness Cover

Football star Larry Fitzgerald is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Men's Fitness magazine.

The Arizona Cardinals wide receiver talks about some of his favorite workout routines in the issue. Some of his favorite routines include medicine ball situps, explosive box jumps and hurdle drills.

Fitzgerald tells Men's Fitness the key to his strength is "my hips and my knees."

Per the conditions, Vick can immediately take part in preseason practices, workouts and meetings ... He can also play in the final two preseason games if he can find a team that will sign him ... Several teams have already said they wouldn't ...

Terrell Owens' The T.O. Show premieres tonight on VH1 and the Los Angeles Times' Mary McNamara reviewed the first two episodes and it appears that T.O. is shirtless in several of the reality show's scenes ...

Terrell Owens is one beautiful man and he knows it, oh, Lord, he knows it, and so do his publicists, Kita Williams and Monique Jackson, the forces behind The T.O. Show, which premieres tonight. Why else would the publicity art include a nude portrait of the football star, why else would Owens spend at least 60% of his time in front of the camera shirtless?

Good thing too, because the sculpted pecs, mighty shoulders and perfect abs are just about the only thing the show has going for it. No, wait, I take that back; he has a lovely smile as well.

Emmys Go Back to Where They Started

Just when it seemed that the NFL had sacked the Emmys and forced them to move the ceremony up a week ... The Emmys have bounced back to their original date ...

CBS tried to avoid airing after an NFL doubleheader so it moved the Emmy telecast ... but now the network is moving it back to its original time slot after running up against another possible ratings problem ... the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards ...

Jack Sussman (CBS Entertainment Executive): "After we announced plans for September 13, MTV informed us they were locked into the same day for the Video Music Awards, with venue and sponsorship agreements in place. We had the flexibility to move; they didn't. Huge thanks to the Television Academy and [show producer] Don Mischer for quickly moving mountains to make this happen."

Hank Baskett Dishes on Kendra, the Baby and Hef

Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson has openly talked about her pregnancy ... now it's time for her fiancé Hank Baskett to bask in the spotlight ...

E!'s Marc Malkin talked to the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver about Kendra, his impending fatherhood and Hugh Hefner ...

Here's an excerpt from the interview ...

Kendra told me you are going to be very hands-on during the pregnancy, that you even want to go pregnancy yoga.

I'm going to do all that with her, because, you know, it takes two people to get pregnant. You can't just have just one person doing everything! There's going to be some things I can't make, but I'm going to try my hardest to be at every appointment, at every meeting, everything.

How many kids do you want?

I've always wanted, like, three. Well, at first I was like, I want two, but you say two and then there's that "oops baby." [Laughs] So, now I'd like three.

Do you want your first to be a boy or a girl?

I want a boy—someone to look out for the baby girl coming next.

And what kind of mom do you think Kendra will be?

She's going to be a great mom! She's telling me what do about every little thing. She's reading, and I've seen more baby television shows since she got pregnant than I have in my entire life. She's studying up on everything, and that's why I have to keep my game up, to keep up with her because she's constantly testing me and asking me questions.

What kind of dad will you be?

The same! I'm going to do whatever it takes, not whatever I can, whatever it takes to guarantee that her and the baby are going to be happy and taken care of.

When I asked Kendra what the kid is going to call Hugh Hefner, she said "The Godfather."

Hef will definitely be involved with the baby. Hef is a great man, and I know there is more to his and Kendra's relationship than people see and actually know. I see it every time they're together. Hef will be a part of the baby's life. That's one of the first things we want to do is bring the baby out here to California and let Hef be introduced. I can see The Godfather being a good name for Hef!

The wedding is just around the corner.

I am very excited and being hands-on with everything. You don't want to being having a baby and have the wife all stressed. I am trying to take care of most of what I can so I can take it off of her shoulders. I want her to enjoy this wedding, because if she's happy, I'm happy. That's all that matters.

Now I have to ask you this because I've asked Kendra about it: Anymore Playboy for Kendra or no more?

[Laughs] You know, that's a question that will get answered if that comes about. I don't really see her wanting to do any more Playboy, but like I said, that's a decision that will be made if that comes up. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it!

CBS has announced that it is moving the 61st Annual Emmy Awards up a week to avoid airing after a football doubleheader ...

The date for the Emmys was selected before the NFL released its 2009 television schedule ...

Officer Robert Powell stopped the vehicle being driven by Moats in the hospital parking lot for driving through a red light ...

Powell drew his gun during the traffic stop ... Powell told his superiors that he did draw his gun but he didn't point it at anyone ...

Moats' wife and another relative ignored Powell's command to stop and went inside the hospital ... Moat's was by her mother's bedside when she died ...

Moats and a friend remained outside while Powell lectured Moats, wrote a ticket and threatened to arrest him even after being told by Moats that his mother-in-law was near death inside the hospital ...

Here is an excerpt of what went on when Moats was detained ...

Ryan Moats: "You really want to go through this right now? My mother-in-law is dying. Right now!... I got seconds before she's dying, man!"

Robert Powell: "If my mom was dying, I'd probably be a little upset, too, but when I saw flashing red and blue [lights], I'd stop."

Ryan Moats: "If you're going to give me a ticket, just give me a ticket.... All I'm asking you is just hurry up."

Robert Powell: "... I could charge you with fleeing right now. Understand what I could do.... I could make your life very difficult."

After 13 minutes Powell finally let Moats go inside the hospital after hospital staff and another police officer interceded ... Moats mother-in-law (Jonetta Collinsworth) was already dead by the time Moats arrived to her room ...

The entire conversation between Moats and the officer was recorded by a device on Powell's cruiser ...

Dallas police department officials have issued an apology and have reassigned Powell to dispatch pending an investigation ...

The clip was transmitted to approximately 80,000 Comcast customers ... it featured a woman unzipping porn star Evan Stone's pants ... Subscribers had an up-close view of Stone's award-winning package ...

The porn clip came from the adult cable channel Club Jenna ... It was transmitted into subscribers' homes with 2:37 left in the game ... It was only viewed by standard cable subscribers ...

Gary Nielsen (KVOA-TV President and General Manager): "We are appalled this highly inappropriate material was displayed for some Comcast customers. Our internal investigation shows the signal left KVOA with no interruptions or inappropriate material. This did not emanate with us."

Comcast has issued an apology and says that it was "mortified by last evening's Super Bowl interruption and we apologize to our customers" ...

Kelle Maslyn (Comcast spokeswoman): "Our internal investigation suggests this was an isolated malicious act. We are conducting a thorough investigation to determine how this happened."
