The massive mural has even impressed the soccer star ... He noted so in his official blog ...

David Beckham: "To be honest I was amazed by the huge billboard poster outside Macy's department store, but even more amazed by the amount of people who turned up to see it! I'm always surprised by the amount of attention certain things create."

Macy's has rolled out its spring campaign ... and it packs the same amount of star power as its wonderful winter campaign that rolled out this past holiday season ...

The new ads feature Mariah Carey, Carlos Santana and Calvin Klein model Gabriel Aubry ... joining Macy's ad regulars Martha Stewart and Donald Trump ...

The first ad stars Mariah Carey, Carlos Santana, Martha Stewart and Donald Trump ... It showcases Santana's women's shoes and Carey's new fragrance ...

The second ad has all the women in Macy's ... including Stewart and Carey ... ogling CK model Gabriel Aubry as he walks through the store to the CK section ...

Macy's will also re-air one of the winter commercials featuring Stewart and R&B crooner Usher ...

Ricardo Muñiz is a Puerto Rican photographer/puppeteer/teacher/activist based in New York City who runs a small cultural arts center, Coquichulo Images, that promotes artists of color. His fashion photography is all about realism (no stage makeup or extensive Photoshop), minimalism (no fancy studio lighting) and representation (photographing and promoting Latino and other models and designers of color).

Here, for all of Papi Chulo's BLOG readers, he has reprinted his cultural editorial, "Orgullo latino." Enjoy the pictures of these real "papi chulos" straight from the ghetto and the pages of Ohlala and Beautiful.

COLT Hits Mainstream TV

TV Land's High School Reunion gave mainstream America its first glimpse at the White Racer Thong from the COLT Basics underwear line ...

Kristofer Weston (COLT Studio Group Director): "We found out about the High School Reunion clip from one of our loyal COLTStudioGroup.com subscribers named Keith. I think it shows how masculine our COLTgear is, that even the straight boys are wearing [them] on national television. I think when the product is good, the customer doesn't care where it comes from. We are definitely making progress in just accepting people for who they are, gay or straight."

Al Bloom (Director of Marketing for California Exotic Novelties): "We concentrate on product placement. It's one of our marketing schemes. In fact, we employ a professional product-placement company in mainstream Hollywood to be sure that any requests for anything in the way of toys or lingerie is presented to us."

Since the show ... the thong saw a slight increase in sales ...

From Never Land to flying carpets to the forested domain of an Indian princess, stars travel to their very own Fantasylands in a new round of celebrity images from famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The new images continue the "Disney Dream Portrait Series" of celebrity photography produced by Leibovitz as Disney Parks extends, through 2008, its "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration on both coasts. Leibovitz's images capture the transformational power of Disney dreams during a celebration that invites visitors to live out their own Disney dreams as never before at California's Disneyland and Florida's Walt Disney World resorts.

Jimmy Kimmel took possession of Gary Coleman's sweatpants on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live! after bidding $500 on the autographed garment ...

That is $399,500 below what the size 12XL-Regular Gap Kids sweatpants almost got on eBay ... The original winning $400,000 bid proved to be a fake bid ...

Kimmel bought the pants last week after the pants seller ("brassonline") ... who turned out to be Coleman himself ... posted negative feedback on eBay regarding the highest bidder ...

brassonline: "Scammer! Never Responded! Risky Ebayer! Non-Buyer."

Coleman didn't return any phone calls from Jimmy Kimmel Live! regarding the possibility of appearing on the program ... but at least the pants made a cameo ...

Would You Buy Gary Coleman's Pants?

$400,000 is what Gary Coleman's pants are selling for on eBay ...

Seriously!?!

Bidding on eBay for the Diff'rent Strokes stars' navy blue, size 12XL-Regular Gap Kids sweatpants reached $400,000 today ... The pants are autographed by the former child star ...

The website won't know if the winning seller is real until the auction is closed ... The seller ... known as "brassonline" ... is skeptic about the high bid ...

brassonline: "I don't know if the bids are real. Until somebody actually pays that amount then I will be comfortable."

The seller set the auction to only be open to pre-approved bidders ... Although the bid-history page shows more than a dozen bids ... including one for $50 million ... have been deleted ... because the seller suspected they were fake bids ...

In a January 11 eBay post brassonline wrote ... "If you are not Serious in paying for this item, YOU NEED TO RETRACT YOUR BID IMMEDIATELY!!!" ...

The seller certainly owes Jimmy Kimmel a big "thank you" ... On January 10th's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! ... Jimmy expressed a desire to own the pants ... and placed a bid of $80 on it ... just three days after the auction started ...

Later that night the bids went up to the three-figure mark ... four minutes later ... they surpassed the four-figure mark ... and five days later (on January 15) the first legit $100,000-plus bid was placed ...

On a January 11 eBay post ... brassonline wrote ... "GO JIMMY YOU ROCK!!!" ...

This week Gary Coleman called into the show ... he suspects that the six-figure bids were bogus ...

So ... who knows ...

But that hasn't stopped brassonline ... The seller currently has a Coleman-autographed DVD being auctioned off ... Bidding starts at $19.95 ... just as it did with the pants ...
