John Schneider and Nancy Travis have signed on to play the parents of Brian Austin Green's Keith on ABC's Desperate Housewives.

Schneider and Travis will appear in multiple episodes, starting with this season's seventh.

Reggie Austin Cast as Vanessa Williams' Husband on ABC's Desperate Housewives

Earlier this summer we learned that Vanessa Williams was joining the cast of ABC's Desperate Housewives as a series regular. Over the summer, details slowly emerged on the character she would portray, Renee.

Renee is involved in a rocky marriage with an athlete. She's an old college friend of Lynette's. Renee sets her sights on Wisteria Lane's new handyman, portrayed by Brian Austin Green.

Reggie Austin has signed on to play the New York basketball player that's married to Renee. Reggie won't debut until the fifth episode of the new season as Doug Perry.

Desperate Housewives returns September 26 @ 9pm on ABC.

In the promo, the main housewives sense a change in the wind. The women stop what they're doing and transform into the ladies in red. The face the change... and it's the new housewife in town, portrayed by Vanessa Williams.

FIRST LOOK :: Brian Austin Green on ABC's Desperate Housewives

The first still of Brian Austin Green on Desperate Housewives has been released. And it appears that newly single Bree (Marcia Cross) has set her eyes on the hunky handyman. Bree hires Green's handyman to spruce up her home.

Bree will have an instant attraction to him, but over time it turns into something more.

Unfortunately for Bree, Vanessa Williams' Renee will also set her eyes on the handyman. And by episode four, there will be quite a bit of competition for Green.

Green will first appear during the series' seventh season premiere.

Emily Bergl to Join ABC's Desperate Housewives

Men in Trees alum Emily Bergl is in talks to join ABC's Desperate Housewives. Bergl would play the recurring role of Beth, the woman who married Paul Young while he was behind bars.

In the sudser's seventh season, she joins him on Wisteria Lane... with (of course) a juicy secret.

Desperate Housewives returns Sunday, September 26 @ 9pm on ABC.
