Scholars and pornographers alike have agreed that this evolution is here to stay. Vouyer Media's Jack Napier has been in the industry for eight years; but, in his first three years, he helped build an entire porn company (West Coast Productions) and became one of the most bankable adult stars. Jack
agrees that pornography is entering the mainstream world. Jack said, "It's a lot more accepted as well as marketable than ever before." Tony Tedeschi has been in the industry since 1990 and has starred in hundreds of adult films. Tony feels that pornography "is being accepted more and more because it is on cable and it is eas[ier] to get now (i.e. the Internet, cable, [and
the addition of] more video stores)." BLKMaarq has been in and out of the adult industry since the late 1970s. He is now the owner of 9x7 Video Productions, the world's leading producer of amateur interracial pornography. BLKMaarq acknowledges that, "there are more and more porn stars doing mainstream projects and being seen to hang out with main stream celebrities." BLKMaarq said that porn stars being in the public eye is not a new thing.
