In the News :: Big Brother Winner Adam Jasinski Busted in Drug Sting

Big Brother 9 winner Adam Jasinski was arrested Saturday as part of a drug-trafficking bust. Jasinski was attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to an undercover government witness.

The 31-year-old Floridian was charged yesterday with possession of oxycodone and intent to distribute. The drug sting happened after Jasinski flew from Florida to Massachusetts to meet his would-be client.

They drove from the airport to a nearby strip-mall parking lot, and somewhere along the way, Jasinski pulled out a sock. From the sock, Jasinski produced two plastic bags containing the tiny blue pills. After the car was parked, agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration's Tactical Diversion Squad appeared and arrested the reality star.

If convicted, Jasinski faces up to 20 years' imprisonment, with three years' subsequent supervised release and a $1 million fine.

Jordan Lloyd Wins Big Brother 11

After a summer filled with bickering, backstabbing and bawling, Big Brother 11 crowned a winner.

During the two-hour finale, the final three became one. Kevin Campbell was eliminated from the competition after Jordan Lloyd won the final HoH competition.

Kevin joined Michele Noonan, Jeff Schroeder, Jessie Godderz, Russell Kairoz, and Lydia Tavera as the jury. America also voted for who to win.

Jordan received the majority of the votes. The 22-year-old waitress from Matthew, NC won $500,000. Natalie won the second place prize of $50,000.

America voted Jeff as the fan favorite. He won a $25,000 prize.

Big Brother Gets Renewed!

CBS has announced that they are ordering a 12th season of Big Brother for summer 2010.

Julie Chen will return as host.

Big Brother ends its current season on September 15 with a two-hour finale.

Big Brother 11's Chima Simone Apologizes for "Terrorist" Remark

Former Big Brother 11 contestant Chima Simone has publicly apologized for her choice of words. Simone had called former houseguest Russel Kairouz a "terrorist." Kairouz is Lebanese-American.

Chima Simone: "I am particularly sorry that my words disparaged the regard and respect that should be shown to all cultures, especially the Middle Eastern community in this time of great turmoil within our nations. In describing Russell's abusive, bullying, and threatening actions towards me and other houseguests, I referred to him as a terrorist. I used a phrase that was insensitive given his Middle Eastern descent and I apologize to all who are justifiably offended with my use of that racially charged term. My sentiments concerning his behavior, however, remain intact. I do not agree with his antagonistic rampages throughout the house. Russell constantly demoralized many of us on a consistent basis and his conduct was alarming, daunting, and terrifying."

Big Brother 11's Chima Simone Unexpectedly Leaves the Game

Big Brother 11 contestant Chima Simone left the show early Saturday morning. Simone's surprise departure ended an intense 24 hours that started Thursday night when fellow houseguest Jeff Schroeder used the coup d'etat power to usurp Simone's power and withdraw her nominations for eviction. Schroeder than put up two of his own nominees. He nominated Jessie Godderz and Natalie Martinez. Godderz was eliminated.

Simone had enough. She commiserated with Natalie and Lydia Tavera. Simone vilified Jeff and called Russell Kairouz a "terrorist." She threw her microphone into the pool and refused to put it back on. CBS announced that Chima was evicted "by the producers from the Big Brother house for violating the rules. She will not be part of the show's jury. Her eviction will be addressed on an upcoming broadcast of the show."

In an exclusive interview with Examiner.com, Simone claims she quit the reality series and disputes CBS' version of the events.

Chima Simone: "Yes, I did in fact quit the show, although there are reports on EW from CBS to the contrary. Big Brother would like everyone to believe I was kicked off for not following the rules, but I went to the producers repeatedly over the past couple of days wanting to leave....wanting out of that house!

As crazy as that house is, the producers NEVER want the world to think or know that we houseguests DO LEAVE when it becomes futile to stay. I lost faith in the show & my ability to remain committed to this game. All of the remaining housemates know I wanted to leave and that is why any conversation concerning me is cut in the live feed because they don't want America to hear the truth about my voluntary departure.

Do you really believe that I would be expelled for tossing my microphone when past houseguests have only been kicked off for violence & threats of violence? You know better, as do I."

Chima's departure will be addressed on Tuesday night's episode of Big Brother.

Big Brother 10 :: Ep 1002 - Power of Veto

Previously on Big Brother ... Jerry was voted HoH ... Brian, Dan and Ollie created an alliance ... Jessie and Renny got into an argument ... Brian used his influence on Jerry in the nomination process ... and Jerry nominated Jessie and Renny for eviction ...

After the nomination ceremony ... Jerry tells Jessie to "work it out with the people" ... if he wants to stay ... In the Diary Room (DR) Brian gloats that the nominations "were 100%" his idea ... and he feels that he has Jerry under his control ...

In the kitchen ... Renny tries to talk to Jessie about their altercation the other night .. but Jessie doesn't pay her any mind ...

Later that night ... Jerry invites everyone up to the HoH suite to share a bottle of wine ... everyone is gabbing then Renny speaks up ... She apologizes to Jessie for waking him up ... Jessie thanks her and tells her that it took her a day and a half to finally say she was sorry ...

Renny is shocked (and rightfully so ... a flashback proves it) saying she apologized that night in the bathroom ... "That's one thing I can't take, an inveterate liar" ...
