RATINGS REPORT :: World Series Game 6 Tops the Week

The first week of November Sweeps was dominated by sports. The Cowboys-Eagles game on Sunday Night Football was the most-watched program with adults 18-49, while Game 6 of the World Series was the most-watched program overall.

ABC's V topped Grey's Anatomy with adults 18-49 and total viewers. A brand-new NCIS was the most-watched scripted series with 20.1 million viewers tuning in.

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, the remaining five celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform two individual routines. The five celebrities competed in a Ballroom and Latin round. The Latin round had the dances set to a particular decade.

Tonight, a celebrity will leave the ballroom.

The Judge's Pick for an encore performance was Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough's Futuristic Paso Doble.

The first couple safe from elimination is :: Joanna & Derek.

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, the remaining five celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform two individual routines. The five celebrities competed in a Ballroom and Latin round. The Latin round had the dances set to a particular decade.

The stand-out performance of the night was Mýa and Dmitry Chaplin's '70s-infused Samba that was pure perfection!

Previously on Dancing With the Stars... Michael Irvin and Mark Dacascos were eliminated from the competition.

Tonight the remaining five celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform two individual routines. The five celebrities competed in a Ballroom and Latin round. The Latin round had the dances set to a particular decade.

Tomorrow night someone will be eliminated from the competition.

Dancing With the Stars :: Ep 915 - "Results Show #07"

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, the remaining seven celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform their individual routines and take part in either Team Paso or Team Tango.

Tonight, two celebrities will leave the ballroom. The couple with the lowest overall score will be eliminated first. Then, the two couples with the next lowest scores will face-off in the return of the Dance-Off. The couple with the lowest judge's score will be eliminated.

The Judge's Pick for an encore performance was Team Tango.

The first couple safe from elimination is :: Kelly & Louis.

The first couple announced in the Bottom Three is :: Mark & Lacey.

Rihanna to Appear on ABC's 20/20

Rihanna has granted a full interview to the media since she was assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown. She is set to appear on Good Morning America on Thursday and Friday mornings and 20/20 Friday night.

Rihanna: "This happened to me... it can happen to anyone. He was definitely my first big love."

Rihanna was also recently interviewed by Glamour magazine.

She tells the magazine: "I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day."

Rihanna: "My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn't heard. Now I can help speak for those women."

DWTS Pro Derek Hough: "I'm Not Gay"

Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Derek Hough easily laughs off rumors he's gay. To play on the rumor, the professional ballroom dancer/singer was close to playing a gay character "in a funny little scene" on ABC's Cougar Town. But, he couldn't due to his Dancing With the Stars schedule.

Derek Hough: "It would have been perfect. With all the rumors going around, I thought it would be really funny because it's just not true. But I was like, you know what? If that's what you want to see."

Tonight, Hough joins fellow professional dancer/bandmate Mark Ballas for the first live television performance of Ballas Hough Band during the celebreality ballroom competition's results show.

Last night on Dancing With the Stars, the remaining seven celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform their individual routines and take part in either Team Paso or Team Tango.

The stand-out performance of the night was Mýa and Dmitry Chaplin's Foxtrot that included an ode to old Hollywood.

Three of the World Series' games topped the broadcast network ratings for the week ending November 1. Game 4 (which aired Sunday evening) drew the highest viewership with 22.8 million viewers. Wednesday’s Game 1 (19.5 million) and Thursday’s Game 2 (18.9 million) followed in second and third place.

ABC's Dancing With the Stars saw its performance show appear in fourth place with 17.4 million.

Previously on Dancing With the Stars... Melissa Joan Hart and Louie Vito were eliminated from the competition.

Tonight the remaining seven celebrities returned to the dancefloor to perform their individual routines and take part in either Team Paso or Team Tango.

Tomorrow night is the final night of double eliminations. Two celebrities will be eliminated... and there will be a Dance-Off.

DWTS Pro Lacey Schwimmer Out with the Flu

Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer will not be dancing with celebrity partner Mark Dacascos tonight on the ABC celebreality ballroom competition.

Lacey has the flu and will be sitting out of the performance show. Mark will be paired with ousted professional Anna Trebunskaya instead.

Anna Trebunskaya: "I was supposed to help him out and train on Saturday. But Lacey got really sick and when she got back from New York. [Filling in] has definitely been a challenge."

Lacey's sickness comes at a time when a bad dance could send any celebrity home, particularly since it's a double elimination week.

Dancing With the Stars airs tonight @ 8pm on ABC.

ABC's Desperate Housewives Gets Extended!

Desperate Housewives showrunner Marc Cherry has extended his contract with ABC Studios for another two years. The move could keep the ABC dramedy on the air through at least 2013.

Desperate Housewives stars Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross are currently only committed through the 2010-2011 television season.

In related Desperate news... Actor Dan Castellaneta will play the pilot of a small plane that will crash onto Wisteria Lane.

Lisa Kudrow to Guest on Cougar Town

Lisa Kudrow has signed on to guest star on ABC's Cougar Town. The guesting gig will have Kudrow act alongside her former Friends castmate Courteney Cox.

Courteney Cox: "She'll play a dermatologist that my character can't stop going to even though [she's] mean to me."

Kudrow's episode will shoot next month and air in early 2010.

Cougar Town's Nick Zano Relocates to Melrose Place

Nick Zano is in talks to join The CW's Melrose Place.

Zano currently plays Courteney Cox's young lover on ABC's Cougar Town. Zano would play a doctor who works with Stephanie Jacobsen's Lauren and Thomas Calabro's Michael at Wilshire Memorial.

If Zano officially joins Melrose, it wouldn't interfere with his Cougar Town commitment. Zano has already shot his final episode with the series.

Secrets Embedded Into LOST - Season Six Poster

A new promotional poster for LOST's sixth (and final) season has been released. The poster features a line up of cast members from the series' entire run. It also features some hidden hieroglyphics embedded within the text "The Final Season."

Popular Mechanics sent the poster to Dr. James Allen, Wilbour Professor of Egyptology and Chair of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies at Brown University for deciphering.

Dr. James Allen: "The hieroglyphs spell out two Egyptian words, meaning 'Who is the guide?' or 'Who is the leader?'"

Let us ponder what that could mean for the final season of LOST.

DWTS Judge Carrie Ann Inaba "Shocked" by Double Elimination

After last night's live results show, Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba was visibly shaken backstage over what occurred.

Carrie Ann Inaba: "That was a traumatic night! I was shocked at Melissa and Mark. I saw some potential. I saw some sort of growth happening with her."

She was also surprised that she was the deciding vote to send Louie Vito home.

Carrie Ann Inaba: "Why do I have to be the bad guy?!"

Melissa Joan Hart was also surprised by the results.

Melissa Joan Hart: "I'm bummed. You know, I'm more bummed that we didn't get to do the Dance-Off, 'cause I was really excited about it. Now I'm wearing all yellow and I just feel stupid."
