Papi Chulo: How long have you been in the adult industry?
Eric Masterson: My wife (Wendy Divine/Maya Divine) and I have been in the industry for about 10 years now.
PC: How did you get into the adult industry?
EM: My wife went to Vegas to the AVN convention and met with directors. At that point she went directly back to LA, got started and then brought me into it after that.
PC: How did you come up with your porn name?
EM: It's a dead superhero ... just a comic book thing.
PC: Have you always been interested in doing porn?
EM: As a guy ... could very well be so ... but, it's not like you really think it'll happen.
PC: What was your first day on a porn set like?
EM: Spooky ... scary and way out of my element at the time. My first film was Dream Master for Sin City. My wife was I think the lead or co-lead.
PC: Who has been your favorite starlet and male co-star to work with?
EM: My wife and Kirsten Price. As far as males, Barrett Blade or Randy Spears.
PC: What do you enjoy most about filming scenes?
EM: The finished product ... then you get to see how it all turns out ... what you put time and effort into.
PC: You have hundreds of features under your belt ... What kind of films do you enjoy shooting the most ... gonzo-style flicks or storyline-driven features?
EM: Features. They are much more interesting and there is more to them.
PC: Besides film work ... you have also worked for various website ... Is there a difference at all in the shooting styles of DVD features and web site work?
EM: Time is the biggest difference. Everyone is different and it all depends on company or DVD. It is all going to be different depending on who is shooting it. So there's not much difference other than time.
PC: You have starred in some of my all-time favorite porn films ...Taken, The Curse Eternal, Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre, Bad Girls, Fuck and Possessed and Undressed ... What has been one of your favorite films to star in?
EM: Camp Cuddly Pines and Fuck 'cause I got to wear Christian Bale's coat.
PC: You have been nominated for several AVN awards ... How does it feel to be one of the few that has gotten their work nominated multiple times?
EM: It feels very good. It's always cool to be nominated.
PC: Out of the titles I listed as my personal favorites ... Is there one that stands out as a memorable experience? Do you have any particular behind-the-scenes tales from that shoot?
EM: Camp Cuddly Pines. I got to watch a coyote eat a crow out in the middle of the street. Other than that it's all good times when you get to hang out with your friends.
PC: You have a pretty good physique ... How do you maintain it? and how often do you work out?
EM: As much as I possibly can I work out. I do lots of free weight lifting and I change my routine frequently. But, my wife's cooking makes me have to work harder.
PC: How and when did you lose your virginity?
EM: I was young ... and it was fun.
PC: What do you enjoy doing sexually?
