I sat down with Damian to talk about how he got into the adult industry ... his dual exclusivity ... and his romantic relationship with a fellow performer ...
Papi Chulo: How long have you been in the adult industry?
Damian Rios: Almost two years. I filmed my first movie in Jan '07.
PC: How did you get into the adult industry?
DR: I met Chi Chi LaRue years ago. It wasn't 'til late '05 when I started to think about it again. So, I sent her some pics. Within a few weeks I got a call back and before I knew it I was meeting up with Doug Jeffries in Miami. That's when my life changed.
PC: Have you always been interested in doing porn?
DR: Yes. I've always liked being an exhibitionist. I was either bartending or dancing at several clubs in Central Florida for a few years. That's actually how I met Chi Chi.
PC: What was your first day on a porn set like?
DR: I was very anxious and excited to get on set. It was completely different than anything I had ever done. I'll never forget it. My first movie was [2] of a Kind and my scene partner was Tommy Blade. It was for Unzipped.
PC: Who has been your favorite scene-mate to work with?
DR: I'm going to have to say my man or I won't eat for a long time.
PC: What do you enjoy most about filming scenes?
DR: The experience to be able to work with so many talented producers, directors, and photographers. It's like discovering something new about yourself every time you get in front of the camera.
PC: You are an exclusive talent on the website Randy Blue ... How did you get involved with the site?
DR: I have a few friends who work for them (Blake Riley and Cody Fallon). I met Blake Riley during my first movie and he was doing a promotional event for them. Every time we would see each other RB would come up, so I submitted a few pics to them and was flown out to L.A. to film.
PC: You have had a few scenes on RandyBlue.com ... One of my favorites is your pairing with Eddie Diaz ... How was that shoot?
DR: Eddie and I also met on my first movie. Eddie knows how the business works and what the audience wants. It was great working with him. We both knew what needed to be done and didn't waste time. I loved it!
PC: You also recently became one of the newest Ranging Stallion Exclusives ... How did you get involved with the powerhouse production company?
DR: OK, so I guess I owe so much to my first film 'cause I also met my boyfriend, Scott Tanner on that set as well. He is a producer for Raging Stallion and coming in there to say, "Hi," I had to introduce myself to everyone. So I met Chris [Ward] and shortly after moving out of Florida and into San Francisco, I got signed.
PC: What can you tell me about upcoming projects with Raging Stallion?
DR: I've already filmed about four movies with them and have just been cast for this year's biggest film. 
It's going to be one of the best experiences I've had in the industry ...
PC: Comparing the two ... is web work at all different from working with an established DVD-making production company?
DR: Oh yeah! The length of time it takes to make a DVD is so much longer.
PC: Overall ... what has been your favorite film project to work on?
DR: I'm super excited about RSS' big movie coming up, but so far I would have to say a movie that was recently filmed in Russian River called The Drifter. It was a threesome with Grabby Award Winner Scott Tanner 
(Best Threesome, Link V) and Manuel DeBoxer. It was my first opportunity to film in the woods. Doing a scene with my BF is super easy and Manuel is absolutely gorgeous. I love my job!
PC: How and when did you lose your virginity?
DR: Hmm ... with a man. I guess I was about 15.
PC: How would you classify your sexual role ... on-screen and off-screen?
DR: Versatile.
PC: What do you enjoy doing sexually?

PC: You are currently dating a fellow porn star ... Is it easier to date within the industry ... rather than with someone not affiliated with porn?
DR: Definitely a lot easier. Having him in the industry, he knows what I would normally do on set. I think it could trouble a relationship if your lover isn't in the industry. It can be a very fun time, but it is also a job and a lot of people don't see how hard you have to work to make it look amazing. I guess that's what the director is there for. But I love having Scott there for me. I have to give him a lot of credit for introducing me to so many people.

DR: Disney.

DR: Red.

DR: All of them!

DR: Fuck.
PC: If you could be anywhere right now ... Where would you be?
DR: At home visiting my family. I miss my mom, brother and sisters so much!
