I sat down with Luke to chat about his start in the industry ... his experience on the GRUNTS and Trouser Trout sets ... his popular blog ... and his future plans in the gay porn industry ...

Papi Chulo: How did you get into the adult industry?

Luke Hass: My ex-roommate Mike is a "porn freak", I mean the kinda guy that can name every porn star out there. I had decided to make some extra cash doing webcam shows, and Mike told me I should build my own website where I could post galleries of videos and pictures and make more money off of it. I built the base of the site but in order to continue the project I needed more money. A few months later a former editor of MEN magazine saw me on cam and asked me about doing porn. I told him about my project and he helped me apply for a few adult companies. Raging Stallion seemed to have what I was looking for and the rest you'll probably find out before the end of this interview.

PC: Were you always interested in working in the adult industry?

LH: Not at all. I have always been an exhibitionist though. I had a profile on dudesnude.com, where I used to post my naked pictures and I used to show off on webcam there, for free, of course ... good times. It wasn't until the opportunity knocked at my door, that I realized I could make it in the adult industry.

PC: What was your first day on a porn set like?

LH: Mmm ... Amateur set or pro set? Because my first experience on a porn set was with Brent Corrigan back in March of 2007. Everything was very easy going. We spent twelve days together and we shot three amazing scenes. He was my all-time porn crush, so it was incredible and surreal at the same time to just be there. On the set of GRUNTS, though, it was the total opposite. Everything was set on a much bigger scale. It was like being at a gay summer camp where all the sex adventures are taped.

PC: When you started working with Raging Stallion ... was it always as an exclusive?

LH: No, not at the beginning. Michael Brandon contacted me to do GRUNTS and the exclusive contract was offered to me halfway through filming. At first they didn't offer me the exclusive contract because they thought I wouldn't be interested, since I was working on building my own site. But we came to a good arrangement and I'm happy there now.

PC: How did it feel when you heard that Raging Stallion wanted you as an exclusive talent?

LH: I felt extremely flattered. Raging Stallion has a vast number of great stars. Being accepted as one their family members is a great feeling. Everyone there is extremely kind to me and all the other models. From top to bottom (of the organization I mean! hehehe), everyone there is really nice.

PC: You were featured in two of Raging Stallion's biggest features of the fall ... Trouser Trout and GRUNTS. What was your experience like on those two sets?

LH: Even though Trouser Trout was released first, it was filmed last. GRUNTS was filmed in July and Trouser Trout in September. Even though they were both big projects, GRUNTS was a much larger set up. I'm actually glad that I have the opportunity to talk about my experience on the GRUNTS set again, very shortly after the whole incident between Brodie Sinclair and Ricky Sinz. The GRUNTS experience was something like I've never experienced before. I was one of the few models that was there from first through last day. It was like being on vacation. We were put on a 50-acre ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA. We had everything at our disposal. During the day it was too hot to shoot so we did most of the shooting really early in the morning or late at night when it was cool outside. So we had the whole day free to do whatever we want. Enjoy the pool and frolic around naked, you know, everyday things. (haha) Some of us had our own cabins, and we all enjoyed meals catered by a professional chef ... To paraphrase Steve Cruz on this matter, "on the last day we had filet mignon -- I kid you not!"

PC: GRUNTS was certainly on the level of a Hollywood blockbuster ... What was it like to work on those sets? What were the military training sessions like?

LH: The military training was tough, but necessary. The whole idea was to give all of us a taste of what the real basic training is like, although it was all on a much smaller scale. I'm sure in the military you can't take breaks every ten minutes or have guys around you holding towels, bottles of water, or your cock for you. (haha) The realism of the training is there, don't get me wrong, but for porn stars that was a lot tougher than most of us expected.

PC: Both movies featured you in scenes with multiple performers. Do you enjoy working more on scenes with multiple people or are you more into the one-on-one scenes?

LH: I like being in scenes with guys I personally feel attracted to. If I'm attracted to all of them, then I don't care how many people are in the scene with me. But giving a "straight" answer to your question, I prefer one-on-one. The fact that I'm always featured with more than one partner in all of my scenes is usually out of my control. It's a good thing, there's enough of my cock to go around!

PC: Something that I noticed as I watched Trouser Trout is that you do not have any real lines of dialogue in the movie. You were sort of the outsider/voyeur that was observing the guys ... and occasionally got invited to join in on the action. You had to act non-verbally in that movie. Was that a challenge for you to make it seem "real" in a sense?

LH: Not really. The reason I was cast for this role was because I'm a quiet person in general. I have the voyeur in me already, so playing one was really easy. Michael wanted the character to be the quiet observer, not in a "freaky, stalker" kinda way, but giving whoever is watching the idea that I knew what was going on with this group of guys -- not because I followed every boy in town, but rather because I used to spy on them from their past trips. My only line in the movie is, "I know what kinda fish they're looking for," or something like that, to give the audience the idea that I already knew them from before and I knew exactly where to go or when to join in on the fun.

PC: What was your favorite scene to shoot for Trouser Trout?

LH: The last scene, the threesome with Derrick Hanson and Ryann Wood. Mostly because those are the type of guys I'm attracted to. Derrick is really hot; his career and awards speak for themselves. And Ryann is just perfect. Great personality and a really hot body combined with the hunger for taking the biggest dicks in town. We had tons of fun together and I think it shows. I even wrote in one of my blog entries how much I liked working with him. Plus the scene itself was a great setup. And something I don't get to do very often in my personal life ... the train position.

PC: What was your favorite scene to shoot for GRUNTS?

LH: The threeway with Brodie and Max Schutler, even though I didn't have any contact with Brodie in that scene. Visually the scene with Rafael Alencar, Dominic Pacifico, and I was more appealing I believe, but Max was great to work with. We developed this really good friendship days before our scene and that helped a lot. Max is such a fun guy and let's not forget how hot he is. Since I watched him in Mirage, I have had the fantasy of kinda reproducing a scene in the same style and position. And I was happy when the decision came that we would do the reverse cowgirl -- or "boy" in this case. I remember I wrote a whole blog post about it as being "my hottest scene yet." It's a must see.

PC: You run your own blog. When did you start blogging?

LH: Yeah, I do. I started in May of 2007. It was mostly an outlet to let the fans know what I'm up to and also a good way to get honest feedback out of them about my work and my personal life.

PC: Do you enjoy the blogging experience?

LH: I love it. I don't want it ever to feel like it's a job, a chore, something I have to do because I have people waiting to read it. I think that's why sometimes I tend to take some awful big breaks from it. Which isn't good at all. I just feel like it's something I should do when I really have something to say, or a story to tell, and sometimes, believe it or not, porn star life gets boring just like everyone else's lives. I try to make it as real and amusing as possible though, and I think that's where I get the following I have right now.

PC: What can be found on your blog?

LH: My day to day experiences ... My life story. My scene's descriptions usually with lots of pictures -- naked pictures and action pictures ... thanks to Kent Taylor, Vice-President and Photographer of Raging Stallion, and Geof Teague. My blog is very illustrated. I have action pictures of all my scenes and every photo shoot I ever did for RSS. I usually write about things that I believe fans would be interested in knowing about me without giving out too much of my private life.

PC: Are there any plans for adding on a members area to your website?

LH: Yes. There are plenty. Unfortunately creating a members area is very expensive and having no financial support but my own makes it even harder. My future plans would be to create something like a Sean Cody/Chaosmen type of site/members area, where I'd have weekly updates with models participating in scenes with me and with other models. Eventually I'd just fade away from the front of the camera and become a producer. I always wanted to do it on my own because that way I'd have the ability to control my own image which doesn't really help when you have partners or investors. I suppose if I find an investor who shares my vision of the future of my website then I guess I'd consider to the idea. So far I haven't found anyone.

PC: You do live cam shows on cammodels.com ... How has your experience been so far with live cam shows?

LH: It's great. It's something I really enjoy doing and it puts me face-to-face with my fans, both people who know me and people who don't. I meet new people everyday being there. It gives the fans the opportunity to talk to me one-on-one and ask questions. Eventually some of them become good friends. Not only that, but you get to see me doing some pretty good solos and eventually some toy playing.

PC: What do you enjoy doing sexually?

LH: I'm mostly a top. Even though I haven't bottomed on camera, I eventually do it in real life. I like passionate encounters. Hot and long sessions. Flip-flopping. I'm always horny, so I suppose it doesn't take a lot to get me going.

As a matter of fact most of the pictures of me, besides the ones produced by RSS, were photographed by me -- self portraits, really, but more complex than a simple webcam capture.

PC: Now here is a list of questions that I like to call "Papi Chulo's LIST" ... It is a set of 7 questions that I am asking everyone I interview ... What are your Top 5 favorite television shows?

LH: Battlestar Galactica. 24. The Closer. Heroes. American Idol. Not necessarily in this order and not necessarily just five. Let's just say that I watch TV a lot.

PC: McDonald's Big Mac or Burger King's Whopper?

LH: I don't generally eat fast food, so neither. But if I absolutely have to pick one, a whopper I guess.

PC: Disney or Warner Bros?

LH: Warner. Disney is too prudish and childish for my taste.

PC: What's your favorite color?

LH: Blue ... lately green, like the background on my website and also my living room wall colors. (LOL)

PC: What's your favorite sexual position?

LH: Missionary I think ... not sure about the name ... the one where the guy has his legs on my shoulders and I can kiss while I fuck him! (*wink*)

PC: What's your favorite curse word?

LH: CUNT. But since I can only use that when I'm alone because a lot of people get offended by it. My curse word for everyday use is DAMN!

PC: If you could be anywhere right now ... Where would you be?

LH: Any place where it's not 7 degrees outside right now. I like warm places. I don't even know why I live in RI.
